Coach Grant is entering his second year at Brentwood Christian School. He is the Sports Information Director, The Bear Facts newspaper adviser and also teaches English II. Grant is the assistant varsity coach for girls basketball and softball. 

Prior to Brentwood, Grant spent three years as the head girls basketball coach at Midland Christian School, where he also coached middle school track & field. Prior, he was the head boys basketball, head girls track and field coach and assistant baseball coach at International Leadership of Texas’ Keller-Saginaw High School campus, where he was a member of three state championship squads (girls track, baseball twice). 

From 2013-2016, Grant was a sports editor of the Star Local Media newspaper companies before transitioning to a career in education. He also worked as an assistant coach for his high school alma mater, Dallas Christian School, and with the Hurricanes Basketball club in North Dallas during this time. In high school, he was a Dallas Mavericks ballkid and spent parts of the last 15 summers upon HS graduation coaching hoop camp for the Dallas Mavericks throughout the metroplex. 

He played football at Trinity University in San Antonio for one season and went on to graduate from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a minor in English.

Grant and his wife, Tristan, have been married for eight years this September and have three children.
