Jason Montier
After joining Brentwood Christian School as Fine Arts and band director during the summer of 2023, Jason Montier quickly became the school’s swimming coach as well, leading the boys and girls teams in addition to his academic duties.
Montier joined Brentwood from Grace Community School in Tyler, Texas, where he was also band director and was assistant swim coach. He aided Grace in winning a TAPPS state championship in swimming as well as three runner-up finishes. Montier was also the president of the Tyler chapter of Metro Aquatics for three years, overseeing the efforts of more than 600 swimmers per season during that period.
He helped lead BCS to its second consecutive TAPPS state championship in band during the 2023-24 school year, and was part of six TAPPS music championships while at Grace. This year, Montier will shift from band to orchestra while retaining his Fine Arts director position. He also assists in chapel coordination.
Originally from Sweeny, Texas, Montier graduated from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s in music education. He and his wife, Angela, have three children and attend Westside Church of Christ in Round Rock.
