David Waters joined Brentwood Christian School prior to the 2023-24 school year. He came to BCS with over three decades of experience in education and coaching and is entering his second year as a high school assistant football coach and the high school boys track and field head coach. 

Originally from Austin, Waters graduated from Hyde Park High School and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He has worked at various private and public school throughout the state from campuses ranging from 150 students to over 2,000. 

Waters teaches AP Computer Science and Economics in addition to his coaching assignments, and last season, helped guide the Bears track and field team to a third-place finish at the TAPPS 4A state meet.
