Lisa Warner started the Lady Bellas program at Brentwood Christian School in 2016 and has served as director ever since. Under her direction, the Bellas have been perennial contenders in TAPPS and other dance organization competitions, including most recently in 2024, when the varsity Bellas won the TAPPS state championship and followed it up with a first place finish at American Dance and Drill’s regionals. She is adding the title of Performance Director this year, in charge of all things dance and cheer at BCS.

Warner is from Phoenix, Arizona and attended Arizona State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Dance Education followed by a Master’s of Physical Education and Curriculum Instruction. She was a member of dance and cheer teams in both high school and college for the Sun Devils.

Prior to working for BCS, Warner was the director of dance at McClintock High School in Tempe, Arizona, and has also worked at local dance studios in Arizona, Colorado and Texas, including Greater Austin Dance Academy.

Warner’s three children all attended and graduated from BCS. She is married to her husband, Tom, and also assists with early childhood and second grade PE. Additionally, she is the sponsor of BCS’ Claw Crew and runs the Bitty Bellas dance program for aspiring young dancers at Brentwood.
