The Brentwood Christian School boys cross country team competed at the TAPPS state meet on Monday, Oct. 28 in Waco, with the team finishing 11th out of 26 programs in attendance.

Led by senior Hollis Harlan (17th) and junior Nico Napper (19th), the program finished in the top half of a very competitive field that saw district rival Grace Community narrowly edge the Bears in 10th after those roles were reversed at the district level.

Sophomore Xavier Parra, junior Joshua Gonzalez and sophomore Jacob Klein-Bradham rounded out the top five finishers from Brentwood.
